Next to the giant grain silos at „Uitz-Mühle“ in Apfelberg (Upper Styria), the newly erected warehouse facility looks almost small in comparison. But with double walls 10 metres high, the project was sizeable enough for a Styrian cooperation.
Uitz-Mühle is a regional grain mill with roots reaching back to the 15th century . During the modern era, the family company has been expanding steadily as well: In addition to the mill, and with a compound feed plant, seed, fertilizer and pesticide sales, Uitz-Mühle delivers pretty much everything that the farmers of the Murtal-region usually need . In the summer of 2018, a new warehouse facility was required and nearby RAUTER Fertigteilbau GmbH was awarded to deliver wall elements with integrated insulation. With a length of 10 metres each, such elements fit perfectly onto the semi-automated circulation system at sister company KAMMEL, who not only produced the wall elements, but also put them in place with their own installation team . A cooperation that is bound to be repeated, such as for a large furniture store in Kapfenberg, where KAMMEL walls and RAUTER elements were also delivered jointly.
