RECORD-BREAKING SPACIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

TIBA Vfss

Polluted stormwater that gathers on road surfaces and handling areas cannot be drained into a water body without treatment. In order to protect people and the environment, traffic surface protection shafts by TIBA AUSTRIA GmbH are used in order to retain mineral oils and deposable substances .

The bigger the better: XXL component dwarfs predecessor
Hasslacher Preding Holzindustrie GmbH is processing thousands of cubic metres of wood on its Preding site, which is then kept for later use IN an adjacent outdoor storage area . Since trucks are operating in this area and a hazard to the water bodies cannot be ruled out, appropriate measures have to be taken. In order to drain and clean rainwater on smaller surfaces, a cesspit is used. But at Hasslacher Preding, with its large storage area, a PCM-VFSS surface protection shaft by Kirchdorfer Industries was needed. And not just any shaft: The wood processing company now employs the largest shaft ever built by the precast concrete component supplier. Apart from the mineral oil separator, various sewer shafts as well as various ring elements and well rings have been installed across the wood storage area . The total weight of all products delivered is 220 tons – a heavy load, but an easy challenge for Kirchdorfer Concrete Solutions!

Another KCS company – MABA Fertigteilindustrie GmbH – is set to participate in the project at Preding. Having submitted an offer for a special round timber sorting solution, MABA hopes to be able to provide a cheaper alternative to conventional sorting boxes made from steel, used as a temporary storage for debarked round wood.
